Tiffin Thyme . . . the better alternative

Tiffin Thyme is a weekly meal service, that delivers to the office or home, providing delicious, wholesome food in Atlanta since 2010 and to date we've grown exclusively by word-of-mouth.

What are we doing that has tongues wagging?

We combine the farm to table philosophy, integrating healing spices, herbs and cooking styles from every corner of the globe . . . but perhaps the best kept secret in Atlanta is that we've been delivering this wholesome goodness each and every week to the homes and offices of an intimate circle of customers, their families and friends and we are now expanding that circle to include you.

Just imagine reaching into the refrigerator at work or home and selecting a delicious, nutritious, affordable, restaurant-quality meal . . .

No shopping, no cooking, no cleanup, no hassle -- all you do is heat and eat!
Is it something you should consider? Absolutely, particularly if you have really great intentions of eating better but find that your best efforts are constantly sabotaged.

Who are Tiffin Thyme's Clients?
  • the busy professional with great intentions but no time to prepare healthy food,
  • the concerned parent wanting healthier meals for their family,
  • the senior citizen who knows it's not to late to enhance their well-being, and
  • anyone looking for an alternative to unhealthy processed food

Try Tiffin Thyme today . . . and you will be hooked
If you are curious about our name, Thyme evolved while playing with the word “time”, i.e. lunch time, breakfast time, dinner time, snack time and we went with "thyme" to convey the fresh, wholesome quality of our food.
To communicate the essence of a delicious, home-cooked meal delivered to the office or home, we borrowed the term Tiffin which originated in India over a century ago referring to lunches prepared for working Indian men by their wives. These home cooked meals are still picked up from the home and delivered to the husband's office by Dabbawalas, also known as Tiffin Wallahs, meaning "one who carries the box". Tiffin is also used to describe the multi-compartment metal lunch box in which the food is transported.

Fact: In Mumbai, over 175,000 lunches are hand delivered every day within a 3 hour time period by 4,500 semi-literate men on bicycles and trains, with no technology involved, and they achieve an error rate of 1 in 16 million transactions, a 99.999999 success rate, earning them the coveted Six Sigma rating.
